01 / A PLACE IN THE CITY
What will your name mean in the City?
EVERY BADGE HAS A PRICE
A badge you admired as a child may become your livelihood. Your background, traits and decisions open doors to different organizations—and different kinds of trouble.
01
The Fixer
Grade 9 license · Offices · Associations
Earn your first license, then take escort, combat and investigation work. Equipment, allies and grade shape the jobs within reach—and the risks that come with them.
The pay is good. The briefing leaves something out.
02
The Wing employee
Promotions · Taboos · Restructuring
An employee ID brings a salary and rules to follow. Climb from assignments to management: one day your name may be on a dismissal list; another day, you may be signing it.
Whose name pays for your next promotion?
03
One of the Fingers
Thumb etiquette · Index Prescripts
The Thumb puts rank into every bow. The Index delivers fate on a slip of paper. Earn a place in the hierarchy while navigating orders, gang wars and rules that follow you home.
The order gives no reason. Will you obey?
04
Blade Lineage & Kurokumo
Scars · Bounties · Leadership
Join the Blade Lineage or Kurokumo Clan and enter a struggle for the alleys. Bounties, comrades and orders collide. When only one alley remains, staying and leaving both carry weight.
During routine filing, you notice a confidential document. The company seal is familiar. What it conceals never came up in training. You could close the cabinet—or go a little further.
01Put it back
Keep your routine intact, though closing the cabinet may not quiet your doubts. Even the cautious choice leaves a small mental cost.
02Read what is inside
Knowing more does not mean having more control. The secret may cost you peace of mind and connections—or bring security to your desk, putting your job and life in danger.
03Copy it and leak it
Information might buy a payday—or put you under surveillance. You cannot be sure who the recipient really works for.
A preview adapted from a built-in event. Expanding a choice reveals the stakes; it does not start a life.
03 / BEYOND AN ORDINARY LIFE
Some lives cross a human boundary.
SOME DOORS OPEN FROM WITHIN
Beyond your career, the City has other stories waiting. An unusual assignment, a bloodline, or a whisper at your breaking point can turn a familiar life into something else.
WARP TRAIN
Outside, only ten seconds pass.
A Fixer comes to clean up. A Finger member retrieves an item. A T Corp employee collects time. The same train, different reasons to board—and years on an unfamiliar scale behind its doors.
Who will you be when the doors open?
BLOODFIEND LINEAGE
A longer life. Then what?
As a Bloodfiend, thirst, Kindred and those bound to you become new concerns. Families contest territory and hunters may find your trail. Longevity does not make each night easier.
What remains when familiar names are gone?
DISTORTION / E.G.O
The voice is waiting for an answer.
At your limit, you may seek company or treatment—or give in to the whisper. Some experiences offer a chance to attempt an E.G.O awakening. Fighting back does not guarantee success.
Be consumed by desire, or give your resolve a form?
These branches have their own entry conditions and do not appear in every life. Background, career, condition and earlier decisions shape how far you can go.
04 / TEN MOMENTS FROM THE CITY
Between the crises, a life worth keeping.
SCENES FROM THE GAME
A job, a proposal, an old coat: small things can give a life its meaning. Read the beginnings below, then open an illustration for more of the scene.
The end of school
Keep studying, or start paying the bills?
A sealed document
Training never mentioned this page.
A life together
A promise to keep each other alive.
The blackout
Who stays by the door when the lights go out?
What you remember
Will you remember titles, or the people beside you?
Give your resident a name, choose a story language and let time move. Childhood, work, relationships and age unfold between events. Pause to read, or return to the same starting point and choose differently.
01
Born at random in The City
Start in a Nest, the Backstreets, or the Outskirts. Your birthplace and family are randomized, setting the scene for a life you have yet to shape.
02
One year, one minute
Four seasons. One minute per year. Slow down to take it in, or watch the years pass at up to 32× speed.
03
Choices shape who you become
Become a Fixer, join a Wing or one of the Fingers, and follow the Blade Lineage or Kurokumo Clan. Your birthplace, traits, rank and decisions open different branches.
06 / BEFORE YOUR FIRST LIFE
Project Moon Life v3 questions, before your first life
THE QUESTIONS WE ALL START WITH
A few practical details about free play, timing, replaying and local saves.
What has changed in v3?
Project Moon Life v3 introduces upgraded City stories and rules: 832 events, 155 everyday scenes, 74 request templates and 25 starting regions. Career progression, organization relationships, WARP trains, Bloodfiends and Distortion/E.G.O branches offer more paths through a life. Full stories are available in English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Existing saves from older versions keep their original rules.
What is Project Moon Life v3?
Project Moon Life v3 is a browser story game set in The City. You begin with a random birthplace and family, then face events and choices that shape your work, relationships and ending.
Is Project Moon Life v3 like BitLife or a traditional RPG?
Like BitLife, your character grows older through story events and decisions. Project Moon Life v3 sets that experience in The City and focuses on careers, relationships and branching outcomes rather than action combat.
What can I become in Project Moon Life v3?
Become a Fixer, join a Wing or one of the Fingers, and follow the Blade Lineage or Kurokumo Clan. Your birthplace, traits, rank and decisions open different branches.
Is Project Moon Life v3 free, and do I need an account?
Register and sign in to replay the rookie Fixer chapter for free: its first three completed requests. Pay $10 once to continue the life and unlock all built-in story routes plus the separate AI mode. Existing accounts retain their previous local-story access.
How do I play Project Moon Life v3, and how long does a life take?
Start with a random resident or customize a name, story language and seed. Read events, make decisions and follow the years as they pass. At normal speed, one simulated year takes about a minute; you can pause or speed up to 32×. Major decisions pause time. English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean are supported in modern desktop and mobile browsers.
Can I replay or share the same beginning?
Yes. In Project Moon Life v3, the same rules version, seed and sequence of choices reproduce the same results across languages and resident names. Share a beginning with a seed link, or replay a life and try different choices to discover another path. A seed link shares the starting point, not your saved life record.
Where does Project Moon Life v3 save my life? Can I play offline?
Local stories stay in this browser, including names, seeds, choices and attributes. A loaded rookie chapter can continue offline within its trial boundary. Export records to move devices; continuing imported full stories requires full-story access. Local saves do not sync automatically.
Does Project Moon Life v3 use AI?
Local stories use built-in events and seeded rules. The $10 pass also includes a separate AI mode with continuing characters, remembered choices and AI cloud saves. A local life does not turn into an AI life. AI generation is paced.
Which languages and devices does Project Moon Life v3 support?
The interface and complete story are available in English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Each life keeps the language selected at birth. Earlier Chinese saves are updated to the Chinese story automatically.
The City has its stories. Yours is still unwritten.
Your next life might begin in a cramped room. Whether it leads to an employee ID, a blade, or a ticket home is something you will have to live to find out.
